Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls L.A. is a day camp where girls and youth with marginalized genders ages 8-17 explore the joys and challenges of collaborative music-making while guided by inspirational mentors.

Music Video Program

In the Music Video Program (MVP) campers direct, shoot, and edit a music video. Campers work in crews alongside inspiring female filmmakers to bring their ideas to the big screen.

In one week, campers will form crews, direct a music video for a live-in-person band, learn how to operate professional cameras, edit with cutting-edge software, and finally screen their finished videos in front of a live audience.

Volunteer-in-Training

This is a special opportunity for older, experienced campers who show a high level of maturity and commitment to the mission of Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls Los Angeles. It is geared towards those who want to get more involved behind the scenes at camp, develop leadership skills, and transition into becoming a RCGLA volunteer or organizer in the future!

Ladies Rock Camp

Ladies Rock Camp is a mini version of summer camp, welcoming participants ages 18 and up and who identify as female. In just three days you will: take lessons on the instrument of your choice (either learning for the first time or brushing up on your skills), form a band, write a song and perform live at a local club.

It’s a weekend of bonding, getting out of your comfort zone, expanding your horizons and HAVING A TON OF FUN in a safe and supportive environment.
