Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls Los Angeles is a social justice non-profit dedicated to empowering girls and gender-expansive youth through music.

We’ve had to cancel this year’s in-person camp sessions because of COVID-19.
We’re now transitioning to an online summer camp experience called ROCK CAMP EXPRESS (RCX), and we hope you will join us!
We’re committed to providing a safe and supportive space for girls and gender-expansive youth – even if it’s online!

I love being in such a positive environment.
She feels strong, engaged, challenged, and accepted here.
I learned I can be loud.
[RCGLA] is the one thing she looks forward to more than anything else all year long.
It made me feel more confident and I made new friends.
Over the years, RCGLA has remained a shining light and source of strength, positivity, acceptance, and love.

Camp Location and Dates Announced!
Rock N’ Roll Camp for Girls LA is thrilled to announce our camp location and dates for our first summer camp!!!
After months of research and reaching out to our community in Los Angeles, we found our gem AND locked down our dates!
Rock n’ Roll Camp For Girls Los Angeles
July 26-31
Immaculate Conception School
Downtown Los Angeles
One of our top priorities for finding the right location for camp was to work with a space whose representatives understand the mission and values of the Rock n Roll Camp for Girls LA. The team at Immaculate Conception has been warm, receptive and ready to ROCK.
Camper and volunteer applications coming soon.
“The Runaways” Event – THANK YOU!
Thank you to all 340 people who attended our SOLD OUT, advance screening of The Runaways last night at Los Angeles Film School! The night was a great success and we were able to raise a nice chunk of change for Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls L.A.!
We started the evening with a few words from our rock camp reps, followed by guests Lori Pesavento (sister of Runaways drummer Sandy West) and Cherie Currie, lead singer of The Runaways. After showing the film, Cherie engaged in a Q&A session with the audience, a cross section of Runaways fans, rock camp supporters and film students.
Special thanks goes out to Apparition Films, Los Angeles Film School, Cherie Currie, Lori Pesavento, Indie Printing, Amoeba Records, New Line Records.
Super thanks to all of our fabulous volunteers! There was a lot of work to do and our volunteers stepped up. We could not have done it without everyone’s help.
Next Volunteer Meeting: April 6th
