About Camp

For complete information and details, click on the links above as suits your interest. But here are some of the basics to get you started:

Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls Los Angeles is dedicated to empowering girls through music education. Summer Camp is our first program, and it’s a day camp for girls ages 8-17. This July, we will gather together to crank it up and kick out the jams for a week full of musical creation and inspiration! Under the guidance of female mentors, girls form bands, learn to play an instrument, write an original song, and perform it in front of a live audience at an awesome music venue in L.A. Throughout the week, campers participate in workshops which may include: Band T-Shirt Screen-Printing, Self-Defense, Songwriting, Image & Identity, Zine-Making, and more. Inspirational guest musicians and bands come and perform every day during lunch!

Full tuition is $400. There are two Scholarship opportunities that campers may apply for, and/or parents and campers may also apply for Financial Aid. It is part of our mission to make our programs accessible to all girls, regardless of their family’s financial situation. Prior musical experience is not required to attend camp; instruments will be provided.
